Happy Daisies

On of my favourite flowers is the ox eye daisy. They are flowering everywhere at the moment, we have them growing in the long grass on the banks in our garden. The butterflies and bees love them and they look really cheery, huge yellow middles and, in the sunshine, almost velvety, sparkly white petals. They look to me like they are smiling!

Bleeding Heart inspired Painting

This was inspired by the beautiful bleeding heart plants flowering in the garden at the moment. I just love these flowers, they die down over the winter and reappear each spring, I am always surprised at how quickly the leaves grow and soon there are beautiful pink and white heart shaped flowers dangling from elegant arching stems.

JustAbstract Etsy Shop

I have recently opened a shop at etsy. It is a lovely site, full of hand made things to buy from paintings to jewellery to all sorts of little treasures. At the moment I have only added a couple of paintings, but more will be comming soon, especially some of my smaller watercolour paintings.

These two paintings are currently available on etsy.

Etsy shows prices in US dollars so my UK buyers will have to convert back, payment can be made by paypal which handles the conversion for you. If you need to convert prices there is a handy currency converter at http://www.xe.com/

I am now closing my eBay shop. I will still occasionally list on eBay but due to the high fees on the site I will not be showing such a large inventory there.

New Textured Paintings

I listed a couple of new paintings yesterday – a large textured heart painting and a couple of smaller textured square paintings (all shown below – please click the photos to view the auctions.).

I have just received an email from a potential buyer asking if my paintings are originals or giclee. He also asked if the painting is stretched over a frame or comes rolled. This seems to be a frequent question asked by people – particularly seeing as eBay is full of digital reproductions so I thought I would post the answer here.
All my abstract paintings on eBay are originals. Each one is hand painted and they are not digitally created in any way.
My paintings are all created on stretched canvases, they are also posted this way – I never send a painting rolled. The sides are always painted to match the painting (I do not paint my canvas sides black) and if the painting is textured the sides will be textured too.

If anyone has any questions about my paintings, please do not hesitate to ask. Just send me an email.

I have already had a lot of interest in these commissions and have already painted several sets including, a blue set with gold waves (a really striking combination), a green set with white waves and a shaded red set with black and white waves.

I have just finished a new painting form my "Hearts" series, entitled "Just for you". Shown below.

It measures 16 x 16 inches and is on Gallery Wrapped Stretched canvas. This means it needs no extra framing as the painting continues around the side of the canvas which are staple free. This painting will be listed on ebay soon.

Ending with in the next 24 hours are two auctions on ebay,

One for a set of three blue paintings, totaling 3ft in length when hung together.

The other is a single green painting.
